Morning Resolution Bailey Towne, September 30, 2021March 17, 2024 As dawn draws neigh and I open my eyes to another day undeserved, I will lift my praise and worship to the one true God, full of mercy and grace. For while I was dead in my trespasses and sin, a rebel against His holy name, He found pleasure in drawing my wretched corpse from the well of despair. And in His goodness, and apart from anything in me, He removed my heart of stone and gave me a heart of flesh. He breathed life into my lungs and radically changed this sinner into a saint. For this I owe Him everything! Every beat of my heart, every breath I take, every word I speak, Indeed every thought is rightfully His. So I pray that He might keep me on the narrow path; that my life might be one that brings glory to His mighty name; that I might be a mouthpiece used to draw His sheep into the fold. All praise and glory to Jesus Christ, my Lord and my God, my Savior and my King. Excerpt “He (God) is the object of our religion. Consequently, it is the duty of all who practice religion to reflect continually upon God as He is, to live in contemplation of Him, and to walk before His countenance, for it is this which the Lord requires from those that are His”1.
